Nicholle Jones Edwards’ law practice focuses on all areas of family law with a concentration on high-net-worth cases. Nikki handles matters involving business valuation, complex property, and high-income support issues. She also conducts mediation and handles appellate matters.
Nikki is an active member of the Oklahoma Bar Association (OBA) and Oklahoma County Bar Association (OCBA), including currently serving on the OCBA Board of Directors. She previously served as the OCBA Co-Chair of the Family Law Section, as well as on the Diversity Committee, Community Service Committee, and the Fee Grievance and Ethics Committee. Nikki is also a Fellow of the Oklahoma Bar Foundation. In 2020, she was recognized by the OBA’s Women in Law Committee with the prestigious Mona Salyer Lambird Spotlight Award for her leadership and mentorship contributions in the legal profession. She previously served as an OBA Delegate in the House of Delegates in 2008-2009 and as an Alternate Delegate in 2006-2007.
Nikki has been active in the Ruth Bader Ginsburg American Inn of Court since 1998, including as the Mentoring Co-Chairperson from 2001-2005. In 2025, she received their John E. Shipp Professionalism Award, and in 2024, she was recognized with the prestigious Don Deason Community Service Award. Nikki was named the Outstanding Master in the Ruth Bader Ginsburg American Inn of Court for 2013-2014, Outstanding Barrister for 2004-2005, and Outstanding Associate for 2002-2003. Additionally, she co-authored “The Evolution of the Mentoring Program of the Ruth Bader Ginsburg American Inn of Court” in 2003.
In alignment with being a thought leader and author on various family law and mentoring topics, Nikki served as the Fall 2020 Distinguished Practitioner in Residence at Oklahoma City University School of Law, teaching an experiential Litigation Practicum Class. She has also served as an adjunct professor at OCU Law in family law and other topics.
Nikki is also passionate about making a difference in others’ lives through community service. She is a Past President, four-term board member, and 30-year volunteer at Positive Tomorrows, a school for children of families experiencing housing insecurity in the Oklahoma City area. Additionally, Nikki is a former Board Member and Past President of Oklahoma Single Parent Scholarship Program (OSPSP), and she leads the Firm’s support of the OSPSP annual Reach for the Stars event. She previously served on the Advisory Board of the University of Oklahoma Women & Gender Studies, serving as founding member from 2011 through 2016, and she is a member of Westminster School Board of Trustees the Casady Booser Club.
Her professional achievements have been widely recognized. Nikki was named one of The Journal Record’s Women of the Year in 2017 and received its Leadership in Law Award in both 2008 and 2017. She has also been recognized by Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers for over a decade, including being named Best Lawyers: Lawyer of the Year in Oklahoma City for Family Law in 2020.
Born in Tulsa in 1969, Nikki began her career at Horning, Johnson, Moore, Grove, Hulett & Thompson, where she focused on family law until 2002. She then joined Mullins, Hirsch & Parrish, becoming a partner in 2004 with the firm’s successor, Mullins, Hirsch & Jones (later Mullins, Hirsch, Edwards, Heath, White & Martinez, P.C.). In 2013, Nikki brought her passion for practicing family law Phillips Murrah.
