For six seasons, our Firm has donated $100 to the Thunder Cares Foundation for each home game block forced by Thunder players.

“We are incredibly proud and grateful to have reached this milestone in our partnership with Phillips Murrah,” said Will Syring, Thunder Vice President of Corporate Partnerships. “The Thunder is committed to meaningful community engagement, and partners like Phillips Murrah continue to make it possible for us to fulfill that mission and make a difference in our communities across Oklahoma.”

Blocks for Bucks began in November of 2017, when Phillips Murrah initiated our corporate partnership with the Thunder. Helping to improve the community is at the heart of of our Firm’s mission, and the prospect of achieving this through supporting the valuable work of Thunder Cares was an exciting and irresistible opportunity.

“Our Firm loves the Thunder, and we love taking action to benefit our community,” said Dave Rhea, Phillips Murrah Marketing Director. “By supporting Thunder Cares through this Blocks for Bucks campaign, we have helped countless people via the direct actions taken by Thunder Cares. It’s really the epitome of that old saying, ‘put your money where your mouth is.'”

Phillips Murrah is proud to continue our partnership with the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Thunder Cares Foundation, and we are thankful for this opportunity to recognize and celebrate our ongoing dedication to actions that make OKC a better, safer, and happier place to live.
