Phillips Murrah is honored to be a 2023 recipient of the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Ada Lois Sipuel Fisher Diversity Award. We also congratulate the other recipients, Judge Richard Ogden, attorneys Lenora Burdine, Tom Vincent, and Angie Christopher, as well as the Southern Center for Human Relations Studies. Additionally, thanks to Samantha Marchand for her wonderfully performed spoken-word poetry during the event.

On Thurs., Nov. 2, in the Skirvin Hilton Ballroom, Phillips Murrah received a 2023 Ada Lois Sipuel Fisher Diversity Award, which recognizes our Firm’s dedication to diversity initiatives that confront and seek to resolve inequities in our community at large.

Receiving the award on behalf of our Firm was Director Candace Williams Lisle, whose work as Chair of Phillips Murrah’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee put action to words and results to intentions. Her commitment to guiding the efforts of our DEI Committee has truly perpetuated our Firm’s momentum in providing mentorship and opportunities for historically underrepresented lawyers within our Firm, our profession, and our community.
