Erica Halley Blackstock is a Director and leader of the firm’s Transactional Practice Group. She represents developers, retail businesses, entrepreneurs, property owners, and other companies in a broad range of commercial matters, with a practice focused on real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, entity formation and governance, and complex contract drafting and negotiation. She also counsels businesses on strategic transactions and day-to-day legal matters.
Her real estate practice includes acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, development matters, due diligence, easements and access agreements, title and survey review, financing transactions, and related operational matters. She also advises clients on business formations, ownership transitions, and commercial transactions across a variety of industries. Erica works closely with clients to structure, negotiate, and complete transactions efficiently and with a practical focus on business objectives.
While in law school, Erica received the American Jurisprudence Award in Civil Procedure II and Torts II. She served on the Judiciary Committee of the Oklahoma Law Review, was awarded the Comfort “Top Ten” Scholarship, and graduated with honors.
Born and raised in El Reno, Oklahoma, Erica lives in Oklahoma City with her husband and their dog. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, running, and spending time with friends and family.
