Phillips Murrah proudly sponsored the Midtown Walkabout event in Oklahoma City’s vibrant Midtown District, held on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The free event was open to the public from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., attracting crowds for a day filled with community, creativity, and local charm.
Held twice a year, Midtown Walkabout is a lively celebration of everything that makes Midtown unique. The event invites the community to explore the district, shop locally, enjoy delicious food, and connect with the neighborhood’s vibrant spirit. Local merchants offered special promotions, in-store activities, and exclusive discounts throughout the day, while families enjoyed free entertainment and programming across the district. The Midtown Association organized the event in partnership with the Downtown Oklahoma City Partnership.
“We always look forward to Midtown Walkabout and are grateful to be part of it,” said Erica Blackstock, who also serves on the Midtown OKC Board. “It’s a wonderful reflection of the energy, creativity, and diversity that define this community.”
