Hilary Hudson Clifton is a Director and a litigation attorney who represents individuals and both privately held and public companies in a wide range of civil litigation matters, including product liability, premises liability, commercial landlord and tenant litigation, insurance matters, general business and commercial litigation, and consumer-protection related disputes.

In her practice, Hilary has had success in state and federal courts, obtaining dismissals and summary judgment victories in premises liability actions, representing clients in complex litigation involving natural gas sales and marketing, pursuing claims on behalf of clients in the energy sector to recover losses caused by negligence and fraud, and serving on the trial team for an international product manufacturer. Hilary has also successfully defended district court victories on appeal and appeared before the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. In the years following the United States Supreme Court’s McGirt decision, Hilary has also assisted business clients with navigating jurisdictional and regulatory issues involving Tribal governments and federal agencies.

While at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, Hilary earned the American Jurisprudence Award for Constitutional Law, Legal Research and Writing I & II, Criminal Law, and The First Amendment. She also served as an Associate Articles Editor for the Oklahoma Law Review. Hilary is a member of The Phi Beta Kappa Society and Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society.
