Joshua L. Edwards is a Director and a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee. Josh is a corporate attorney whose business practice includes representing clients in a variety of commercial transactions across a number of industries, with an emphasis on the restaurant, insurance, oil and gas, and real estate industries. Josh has extensive experience in structuring, negotiating, documenting, and financing business transactions, with a keen appreciation of what is required to get the deal closed. Josh also routinely works on private placements of equity and debt securities under Reg D, as well as assisting emerging growth clients with all stages of investment, from initial start-up rounds and seed capital to later rounds of capital and private equity.
Josh also previously served as the Practice Group Leader for the Firm’s Transactional Practice Group. A frequent author and speaker, Josh is the co-author of the Oklahoma chapters to state-by-state guides on commercial lending law and on commercial guaranty law published by the American Bar Association. He also co-authored the Oklahoma chapter of the Trigild Deskbook on foreclosure and receivership law, and his work on the UCC has been published in the Oklahoma Law Review.
