Biography

Colby D. Karcher is a litigation attorney who represents individuals and both privately-held and public companies in a wide range of civil litigation matters.

Colby attended Oklahoma City University School of Law and graduated summa cum laude. Colby was a Merit Scholar and was on the Faculty and Dean’s Honor roll during his time at OCU. Colby also received five CALI awards while attending OCU, was a recipient of the Association of Corporate Counsel Scholarship, was a member of Law Review, and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society. While in law school, Colby published his note, Prisoner Suicide: A Need for a Clearly Established Right to Suicide Prevention Protocols.

Prior to law school, Colby graduated summa cum laude from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science in 2020. While at SWOSU, Colby was a member of the men’s golf team, the President’s Leadership Class, and the Pi Sigma Alpha honor society.

Colby was raised in Midland, Texas and moved to Oklahoma to attend Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where he played golf. He currently resides with his wife, Rebecca, in Edmond, Oklahoma. In his free time, Colby enjoys golfing, working on his family’s farm near Stillwater, Oklahoma, and spending time with his wife and their dog, Ted.
