Phillips Murrah's Paying It Forward amplifies the message of one non-profit organization each month, all year long.

In Dec. 2020, Phillips Murrah partnered with Oklahoma NPR radio station KGOU to sponsor broadcast announcements each month that shine a light on a selected non-profit organization. Our aim is to amplify each beneficiary organizations’ needs and goals, and to help increase awareness, drive volunteer quality and quantity, assist in fundraising support, and improve capacity to deliver service to the community.

Our Paying it Forward beneficiary in January 2024 is The Dragonfly Home. #PIFOKC

The Dragonfly Home

January is National Human Trafficking Prevention Month in the United States. Since 2010, the President has dedicated this month to raising awareness about human trafficking and educating the public on how to identify and prevent this heinous crime. The U.S. Department of State collaborates with U.S. embassies and consulates to raise awareness of human trafficking both domestically and abroad.

In honor of National Human Trafficking Prevention Month, Phillips Murrah proudly supports The Dragonfly Home as our January Paying it Forward beneficiary. Human trafficking affects countless individuals, each with a unique story, but all of whom possess incredible courage, compassion, and resilience.

The Dragonfly Home offers compassionate and empathetic services to victim-survivors of human trafficking, including sex trafficking and labor trafficking. They work with each person as an individual, without judgment or strings attached, to help them navigate their healing journey. Their services are available to all genders, American citizens and foreign nationals, ages 15 and up, as well as children and family members of trafficking victims. The only requirement for their services is that someone has experienced some form of human trafficking.

At Dragonfly, all services are free, regardless of a person’s income.
