Phillips Murrah’s Paying It Forward amplifies the message of one non-profit each month, all year long

Since December of 2020, Phillips Murrah has partnered with Oklahoma NPR radio station KGOU to sponsor broadcast announcements each month that shine a light on a selected non-profit organization. Our aim is to amplify each beneficiary organizations’ needs and goals, and to help increase awareness, drive volunteer quality and quantity, assist in fundraising support, and improve capacity to deliver service to the community.

Our Paying it Forward beneficiary in March 2022 is Suited For Success. #PIFOKC

The law firm of Phillips Murrah is proud to support Suited For Success as they help women achieve self-sufficiency by providing professional clothing and career development services. Their services, available to clients at no charge, empower women to find and keep jobs that provide them with economic independence.

A woman without a job cannot afford career clothing, and without career clothing, a woman is unlikely to get a job. Suited for Success helps break this cycle by preparing them to present a professional and confident image during the interview and on the job.

The cycle of poverty and unemployment that often repeats over several generations, is an even more important cycle to break. By helping women find and keep employment, we break the cycle of dependence on government assistance for themselves and their children. Our clients become positive examples of self-sufficiency for their children.
