Biography

Daisy Borders is a family law attorney and Guardian Ad Litem. Her family law practice includes litigation of all areas of family law with a focus on cases involving complex property division, business valuations, and support issues as well as cases involving high-conflict custody dynamics and litigation of relationships with domestic violence and abuse.

Daisy values work ethic above all else and is a zealous advocate for her clients. She takes a collaborative approach to meeting their needs. Not only does Daisy understand that this may be the most difficult time in her clients’ lives, but she also works with each individual to identify and obtain desired results.

Daisy is the oldest of five children and grew up in rural Oklahoma, working for her family’s small businesses. She began pursuing her undergraduate degree at Davidson College in North Carolina. At Davidson, Daisy competed as a Division I Athlete and served as a Bonner Scholar. Daisy then transferred to the University of Oklahoma, where she received her undergraduate degree in English Writing with Honors.

Daisy graduated with Honors from Alexander Blewett III School of Law at the University of Montana. While attending law school, Daisy had the opportunity to live in Fairbanks, Alaska, and work as a law clerk for Clapp, Peterson, Tiemessen, Thorsness LLC. She also interned with the University of Montana’s Legal Counsel under a general counsel and Blackstone Launchpad consultant capacity.

Daisy was born and raised in Oklahoma. For the last several years, however, she has lived and practiced law in Alaska. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs at their off-grid property in Alaska.
