Phillips Murrah was proud to sponsor the 19th Annual William J. Holloway, Jr. Lecture, held on Tuesday, Oct. 20, at the Meinders Hall of Mirrors at the Civic Center Music Hall in Oklahoma City.
The Oklahoma City Chapter of the Federal Bar Association hosts the annual lecture series and honors Senior Judge William J. Holloway, Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Established in 2006, the series brings together distinguished federal judges, practitioners, and law students for an evening of scholarly discussion, networking, and the presentation of the Holloway Scholars Program awards to outstanding law students from the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma City University.
This year’s keynote address was delivered by Noel Francisco, former U.S. Solicitor General and prominent Supreme Court advocate. Past lecturers in the series have included Seth P. Waxman, Professor Eugene Volokh, Professor Akhil Reed Amar, Erwin Chemerinsky, David Boies, Neil M. Gorsuch, Jonathan Turley, and Lisa Blatt.
Director Amy D. White serves as Chapter Vice President of Development for the Oklahoma City Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, and attorney Justin P. Grose serves as Chapter Vice President of Annual Events.
“This event is an important opportunity to socialize with colleagues, judges, and practitioners while also hearing from great speakers and continuing our legal education,” said Justin.
Attending the event for Phillips Murrah were attorneys Madison A. Botizan, Justin P. Grose, Jeff C. Grotta, Hilda Loury, Lindsay M. Mayes, Jennifer L. Miller, Austin T. Ray, and Amy D. White.
