Madison Botizan is a litigation associate, focusing her practice on construction and utilities litigation, insurance coverage and bad faith disputes, business litigation, personal injury, and premises liability. She represents companies and municipalities across Oklahoma and has established herself as a trusted defense attorney for municipalities and their contractors involved in utility lawsuits. Madison has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2025 and 2026.
Madison has a trial-focused approach. She approaches every matter with the assumption that it will go to trial, keeping a sharp focus on the story that will ultimately be told to a jury. This mindset drives the clarity and precision she brings to every case from the outset.
Madison earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Oklahoma in 2017 and her law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law. Prior to joining Phillips Murrah, she spent three years representing insurance carriers in bad-faith and coverage disputes, along with municipalities and contractors in construction and utilities issues. She also has experience representing plaintiffs in insurance coverage and bad-faith lawsuits and personal injury matters.
An active member of the legal community, Madison serves as the 2026 Chair of the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Women in Law Section and is involved with the Oklahoma County Bar Association.
Outside the office, Madison enjoys exploring state and national parks with her husband and their daughter, cheering on the OKC Thunder, and cooking for friends and family.
