Phillips Murrah is proud to announce that attorney Camille N. Burge has been appointed to the Board of Directors for Positive Tomorrows, a school for children of families experiencing housing insecurity in the Oklahoma City area.
After being introduced to Positive Tomorrows through Phillips Murrah Director and long-time champion, Nikki Edwards, Camille began volunteering at the school and also became a committee member. In May 2024, Positive Tomorrows presented Camille with an Outstanding Volunteer Award.
“These individuals always go above and beyond, and there is nothing they won’t do to support our students and staff,” Positive Tomorrows said of the award recipients. “We’re so grateful for their consistent care and service. Thank you to these outstanding volunteers!”
Positive Tomorrows is a non-profit organization that provides students and their families with a supportive environment, showing them that they are not alone in their experience. The school’s approach tackles the challenges of transportation, hunger, and basic needs while also helping the family find stable housing and employment—empowering students to focus on learning in a safe and nurturing environment. It’s a model of care that goes beyond education, building a foundation of dignity, hope, and resilience.
