Phillips Murrah congratulates Attorney Camille N. Burge on her appointment to the Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Oklahoma Resource Board.
Since 1904, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is incredible potential. As the nation’s largest donor- and volunteer-supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 5 through young adulthood, in communities across the country. They develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.
“I am excited to have the opportunity to work with Camille in advocating for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma,” said Phillips Murrah Director and BBBS State Governing Board Member Byrona J. Maule, “And I know Camille will be a great asset to the Oklahoma City Resource Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma.”
Camille was born and raised in Oklahoma City. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Oklahoma, competed on the Track and Field team, and earned Academic All-Big XII honors in 2017-2019. In her spare time, she enjoys cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
“Camille was recommended to me by a long-time Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma (BBBSOK) supporter, former local board member, and current State Governing Board member Byrona Maule,” said Michael Stuemky, OKC Area Director. “She couldn’t have been a better fit. Camille is so sharp, forward-thinking, and has a deep, genuine care for our mission of serving Oklahoma City Metro Little’s and a real attachment to seeing the best outcomes for our OKC community. I am beyond grateful, humbled, and honored to work alongside Camille and to be a part of her continued and growing leadership impact on OKC.”
