Biography

Lacy Kelly is a transactional attorney who represents clients in real estate transactions, estate planning, and business law matters. She brings to her practice more than a decade of experience working in municipal government, with a particular focus on economic development and public finance in Oklahoma.

While in law school, Lacy graduated summa cum laude with highest academic honors from Oklahoma City University School of Law, where she earned specialty certificates in Business Law and Estate Planning. She served as Articles Editor of the Oklahoma City University Law Review, and her article, The Employee Trap: Developments in Training Repayment Agreement Provisions and Towards a Labor Market Free of Snares, was published in Volume 49, Number 2. Lacy was also named the 2023 William J. Holloway Scholar by the Oklahoma City Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, was a member of the William J. Holloway Inn of Court, and received multiple CALI Excellence Awards in subjects including Legislation and Regulation, Contracts, Evidence, and Wills, Trusts and Estates.

Originally from Oklahoma, Lacy earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Oklahoma. She now lives in Classen Ten Penn with her spouse, Matt, and their small dogs. In her free time, she enjoys reading and singing at weddings and funerals.
