Biography
Christin V. Mugg is a highly respected leader in the Oklahoma estate planning community. Her area of expertise includes complex estate planning and planned charitable giving. Christin is a member of several professional associations, including the Oklahoma City Estate Planning Council, Oklahoma Bar Association, Texas Bar Association, and Oklahoma County Bar Association. She is also a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy®. Christin is an active community volunteer and serves on the Oklahoma Association of Charitable Gift Planners board and as a Trustee for the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.
Christin is a full-time professor at Oklahoma City University School of Law. She teaches Property, Wills, Trusts & Estates, and Estate Planning. Additionally, she is a City Council Member in Edmond, representing Ward 3.
Christin is a highly accomplished individual with a Juris Doctor degree from the Oklahoma City University School of Law (“OCU”) in 1998. She was the Editor-in-Chief of the OCU Law Review, a Hatton W. Sumners Scholar, the Oklahoma Bar Association Outstanding OCU Law School Student, and graduated first in her class. Christin received an MBA from the University of Oklahoma (“OU”) in 1994. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1990 from OU with a BA in Letters. While attending OU, Christin was named Outstanding Senior Woman and selected for membership in PE-ET, Phi Beta Kappa, and Beta Gamma Sigma.
Christin grew up in Oklahoma City and attended Putnam City North High School.
