The celebration marked the end of the 2025-2026 professional basketball regular season in alignment with our longtime partnership with the Thunder Community Foundation and our Blocks for Bucks campaign.

The true heart of the evening was our commitment to giving back. All proceeds from the event’s raffle went directly to the Thunder Community Foundation. To drive the fundraising efforts, our team put together raffle packages that had guests eagerly scanning QR codes to purchase raffle tickets. Among other packages, sports fans vied for an official basketball autographed by the 2026 OKC team, a professionally framed photo from the Championship Parade, and premium lower-level tickets for both the 2026 playoffs and the 2026-2027 home opener.

For the 2025-26 season, including funds raised during our Block Party, Phillips Murrah has donated $26,040. After eight seasons of our Blocks for Bucks partnership, the total fundraising amount benefiting the Thunder Community Foundation is $172,100.

We were incredibly honored to welcome Erin Oldfield, Vice President of Community Engagement, who delivered inspiring remarks to the crowd. Using our patio as an impromptu stage, Erin spoke passionately about the Thunder organization’s community initiatives and the tangible, positive impact that our guests’ fundraising efforts will have on the local area.

We were also honored that one of Phillips Murrah’s Founding Partners, Kristin Juras, flew in to attend from Montana, where she now serves at Lt. Governor. Kristin is also featured in our 40th Anniversary multimedia package published last month about the founding of our Firm.

As we reflect on 40 years of growth and evolution, events like our Block Party remind us that our people and our community remain our greatmest assets. We want to extend a massive thank you to everyone who attended and generously supported the Thunder Community Foundation.
