Phillips Murrah proudly served as a Commis Chef Sponsor for the 46th Annual Taste of OKC Gala, held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the Oklahoma City Convention Center. The elegant evening, hosted by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma and chaired by Victor Flores, brought together civic and community leaders in a shared mission—to support transformative mentoring relationships for youth across the state.
Guests were treated to a night of fine dining, featuring culinary delights from 27 local restaurants. They were paired with spirited entertainment by The Derek Harris Band and DJ LiTEBRiTE, whose live performances set a joyful, high-energy tone.
Attorneys Camille Burge, Kelsey Chilcoat, Hilda Loury, Natalie McMahan, and Kelly Offutt represented Phillips Murrah.
But the firm’s partnership with BBBSOK goes far beyond this event. Phillips Murrah will also participate in the upcoming OKC Bowl for Kids’ Sake, another signature event that raises funds to match children facing adversity with caring, committed mentors.
Longtime advocate Byrona J. Maule continues to shine as a guiding light in this effort. A dedicated volunteer and philanthropist, Byrona began serving Big Brothers Big Sisters in 1990 and currently serves on the organization’s Governing Board for a second term, having served from 2012 to 2015—including a term as Board Chair.
Additionally, attorney Camille N. Burge was newly appointed to the BBBS Resource Board in 2024. Camille represents clients in civil litigation and family law, and her commitment to mentorship echoes through her legal practice and community involvement.
Phillips Murrah is honored to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma in building brighter futures for the next generation, one connection at a time.
