Phillips Murrah’s rowing team “Law & Oarder” will return to the Oklahoma Regatta Festival to compete in the 500-meter race at 9 PM this Friday, September 30.
“It has been a lot of fun, but it is also challenging. Rowing is like nothing I have ever done before. I played volleyball and basketball in school and was always confident about my abilities,” said Brook Nusz, Paralegal at Phillips Murrah. “Rowing is more challenging than either of those sports because it doesn’t work well unless all eight people rowing are in sync.
“When we are all in sync, it is like nothing I have ever experienced. It is just so smooth as we glide through the water. Everyone has been so supportive, and we have fun while working hard.”
Law & Oarder will compete during OGE NightSprints in the RIVERSPORT Corporate Rowing championship at the Oklahoma River. The event is free and open to the public.
