As Phillips Murrah celebrates 40 years of service, we’re highlighting the people whose work has helped shape the firm along the way. In this 40 for 40 profile, we spotlight Jennifer Christian and the perspective she brings to her role and to the firm’s culture.
Jennifer chose to join Phillips Murrah because of its strong culture, forward-thinking approach to staying current with developments impacting the legal industry, the positive reputation of the firm’s attorneys, and the breadth and diversity of practice areas in which the firm serves its clients. Since joining in 2021, reality has exceeded the perception she had about the culture, growth, and impact of Phillips Murrah coming in. Over the last five years, she has only continued to be more impressed by the firm’s commitment to preserving its positive and productive culture, to continued growth in size and practice areas, and to meaningfully giving back to the surrounding communities.
In her current role, Jennifer finds the most meaning in educating clients on the legal process, advocating on their behalf, and walking with them through what is usually one of the most challenging, stressful, and uncertain times of their lives. What she values most about Phillips Murrah is the professionalism, integrity, generosity, and talents of the people comprising the firm, qualities she believes have been central to its success over the past 40 years.
Outside of work, Jennifer says nothing keeps her more grounded or inspired than her two teenagers. Faith, family, nature, travel, and many, many books round out the rest, all of which help keep perspective and balance.
