Phillips Murrah Attorney Hilda Loury has been chosen to join the Oklahoma Bar Association’s (OBA) Leadership Academy, a distinguished program for attorneys dedicated to advancing the bar and serving their communities.
Launched from the OBA’s Leadership Conference in 2007, the Leadership Academy equips participants with the skills, insights, and professional networks necessary to assume leadership roles within the bar and their local communities. The program provides in-depth exposure to OBA governance, considerations for attorneys in public service, networking strategies, and effective communication techniques.
More than a professional development opportunity, the Leadership Academy is an investment in the future of Oklahoma’s legal profession. Graduates from previous classes have gone on to hold leadership positions within the OBA and their communities, reflecting the program’s success in fostering the next generation of legal leaders.
Participants benefit from diverse perspectives, mentorship from experienced practitioners, and practical leadership training that extends beyond legal practice. The program’s networking component is particularly valuable, connecting peers across Oklahoma and often resulting in ongoing collaborations, referrals, and lasting professional relationships.
The ninth class of the OBA Leadership Academy is set to begin mid-January 2026.
Hilda Loury is a litigation attorney who represents individuals and both privately held and public companies in a wide range of civil litigation matters in state and federal court.
