On April 3rd, 2024, Lauren S. Voth was recognized as Alpha Chi Omega Panhellenic Woman of the Year by the Greater Oklahoma City Alumnae Panhellenic Association. The Association’s primary goal is to support the fraternity system by offering scholarship awards, organizing educational and informational events for prospective first-year college students, participating in philanthropic projects, engaging in community service, and promoting civic leadership.
“As a lifetime member of Alpha Chi Omega, sorority involvement has reinforced my values, work ethic and understanding of the impact of philanthropy” said Lauren S. Voth. “I have strong women in my life who have mentored me and supported me to attain the success I have attained.”
The Greater Oklahoma City Alumnae Panhellenic Association has been organizing an annual recognition luncheon since 1998 to honor a distinguished alumna from each member sorority. The honorees are known as the Panhellenic Women of the Year. They are selected based on a set of standardized criteria, including their leadership in the community and philanthropic efforts, professional success, and dedication to their sororities. In 2019, Director Kathryn D. Terry was awarded this prestigious recognition. At the luncheon, the Women of the Year are celebrated and introduced.
Over the past 25 years, the Greater Oklahoma City Alumnae Panhellenic Association’s scholarship program has awarded more than $300,000 in scholarships to deserving young women in the Oklahoma City Metro who are attending colleges in Oklahoma.
