To recognize Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Phillips Murrah’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and the Executive Committee of the Firm are proud to present two tickets to visit the iconic First Americans Museum (FAM) to each of its Oklahoma City attorneys and staff. We want to encourage our employees to experience this amazing facility and its exhibitions highlighting the unique cultures, histories, and contributions of the many Native American nations represented in Oklahoma today.

From FAM’s website: “In one place, visitors experience the collective histories of 39 distinctive First American Nations in Oklahoma today. First Americans Museum shares the cultural diversity, history, and contributions of the First Americans.”

We would also like to acknowledge the Native American Peoples on whose ancestral homelands we now work in vibrant downtown Oklahoma City: the Kiowa, Osage, Wichita, Comanche, and Kickapoo Nations.

The First Americans Museum, located at 659 First Americans Blvd., is situated along the Oklahoma River just east of OKC’s Boathouse District.
