Molly E. Tipton’s legal practice is focused on domestic and family law, including divorce, legal separation, prenuptial agreements, support alimony, child custody, visitation, child support issues, guardianships, and paternity, for clients ranging from high-net worth individuals to simple uncontested divorces. Molly’s family law practice is not limited to start-to-finish divorce but also post-divorce modifications. Molly has extensive experience working with Guardians ad Litem to resolve parenting disputes and has a history of successfully mediating cases to resolution.
Clients dealing with divorce and custody cases are typically at a very difficult juncture in their lives, which is what makes the initial client consultation Molly’s favorite part of her family law practice. Getting personal with clients and getting to know them, their story, and determining how to best help a potential client is what makes family law practice very rewarding. Molly’s approach to family law is very client-oriented, as Molly believes it to be her job to give her clients the tools to help them make the best decision in a stressful moment.
Molly has an historically diverse practice allowing her to provide her family law clients with a broad understanding of business operations and asset valuation in many arenas.
Prior to joining the family law group, Molly focused on oil and gas title examination, preparing drilling title opinions, division order title opinions, acquisition title opinions, and operating agreements, as well as conducting due diligence and probates. Additionally, Molly uses her lifelong involvement with the equine industry to represent clients in matters concerning boarding contracts, lease and sales negotiations, contract drafting, insurance consultations, ownership syndications and LLCs, and pre- purchase evaluations.
Born and raised in Bismarck, North Dakota, Molly moved to Oklahoma on an athletic scholarship to compete on the Women’s Equestrian Team at Oklahoma State University. In her spare time, Molly enjoys showing her reining horse, Clyde, cooking, and cheering for the Thunder, the Cowboys and the Sooners.
