Phillips Murrah is excited to share that The Journal Record recognized attorneys Lauren Barghols Hanna and Sally A. Hasenfratz with the Leadership in Law Award.

Lauren Barghols Hanna’s state and federal litigation practice is focused on labor and employment law. As a part of her employment practice, Lauren counsels and represents management in all phases of the employment relationship, including litigation matters involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment and wrongful discharge claims, whistleblower claims, claims related to employment agreements and theft of trade secrets, workplace investigations, wage and hour (FLSA) claims, and other disputes arising from the workplace. She also works with employers in crafting appropriate employment policies and procedures, employee handbooks, non-disclosure/non-solicitation agreements, and employee severance agreements and releases.
“I strive to provide more than just dry legal advice. I want my clients to see me as a true counselor and partner, someone they can call on to talk through tricky issues and craft practical, forward-looking solutions that allow their ventures to grow and thrive,” said Lauren.

Sally A. Hasenfratz is a Director and a veteran real estate and transactional attorney with over 35 years of experience. She is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate Practice Group and has a full spectrum of experience in all areas of real estate law, including commercial leasing and sales, all phases of development, public/private transactions, tax increment financing transactions, alternative energy transactions, and construction law. Sally is also a member of the Firm’s Tax and Family Wealth and Business Succession Practice Groups, and she represents individuals and both privately held and public companies in a wide range of transactional matters.
“It is a service industry, ” said Sally. “I hope to serve clients in a fashion where they are fully aware of options and alternatives and work collaboratively and strategically to help them achieve desired outcomes.”
