Phillips Murrah was proud to sponsor the 2025 Sovereignty Symposium as a Printed Program Sponsor. The event was held June 12–13, 2025, at the OKANA Resort in Oklahoma City.
Founded in 1988, the Sovereignty Symposium is hosted by the School of Law at Oklahoma City University. It serves as a respected platform for exploring legal and policy issues affecting tribal nations, highlighting tribal sovereignty in its various dimensions, including legal, cultural, artistic, and economic aspects.

The Honorable Deb Haaland, former U.S. Secretary of the Interior and enrolled member of the Laguna Pueblo tribe, delivered this year’s keynote address.
