Medaling Teams: 3rd Love’s, 1st Phillips Murrah, 2nd OMRF
Phillips Murrah’s exceptional rowing team, “Law & Oarder,” emerged victorious at the Stars & Stripes OG&E NightSprints. Their outstanding performance in the 500-meter race on Saturday, June 22, resulted in a well-deserved gold medal, showcasing the team’s unwavering dedication and competitive spirit.
“What a way to end the night,” said Deena Baker, Team Capitan and Phillips Murrah Legal Assistant. “Another boat came into our lane within the first 15-20 strokes, so everyone had to realign to restart the race.”
“Law and Oarder lagged a few seats behind OMRF but pulled it out in the last 50 meters or so with our sprint,” Deena continued. “I have to say our sprints are when we get it on! The season definitely ended on a very positive note, and as always, I’m looking forward to the next.”
