Biography
Laurel L. Baker is a litigation attorney whose primary focus is on commercial and business litigation matters representing both plaintiffs and defendants in disputes involving banking, corporate governance, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, employment, and other business issues.
Laurel received her J.D. from the SMU Dedman School of Law and was a Dean’s Scholarship Recipient. While at SMU, she was Auction Director for the Association of Public Interest Law, a student attorney in the Child Advocacy Clinic, and an Articles Editor of the International Law Review Association. She holds a B.A. degree in Political Science from Baylor University where she graduated Cum Laude.
Laurel lives in Dallas with her husband, Hayden, and their bichon frise/poodle mix, Belle. Laurel is also a member of the Junior League of Dallas, through which she also volunteers in the community.
