Biography

Kim Kelly is a goal-oriented litigator who advocates for clients through every stage of litigation, from pre-suit negotiations through final resolution. She has a background in commercial litigation, labor and employment law, and product liability litigation. Kim works closely with clients to identify strategic objectives and manage risk at each critical juncture over the life of a lawsuit. She is experienced in defending clients of all sizes in both state and federal courts. She also assists employers with human resources matters, including handbooks and policies, non-competition disputes, and internal investigations.

While at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, Kim served as the Business and Marketing Editor for the Oklahoma Law Review, and as President of the Board of Advocates. She also served as a mentor for 1L students. She was also inducted as a Member of the Order of the Coif.

She lives in Richardson with her husband and three children and is an active member at Chapel of the Cross in Uptown Dallas. In her free time, she enjoys hosting parties, camping and hiking, and spending time with her family.

  • Advised employers on federal and state employment law compliance and drafted and revised employee policies and agreements to comply with applicable law
