Phillips Murrah proudly announces four new Directors for 2023

2023 New Directors promo graphicThe law firm of Phillips Murrah proudly announces that Erica Halley Blackstock, Jennifer K. Christian, Hilary Hudson Clifton, and Michele C. Spillman have been elected by the Firm’s Shareholders as new Directors. Their appointments were made effective January 1, 2023, bringing the total number of Directors in the Firm to 40.

Erica Halley Blackstock is a member of the Firm’s Transactional Practice Group. She represents individuals and businesses in a wide range of business matters, with an emphasis on mergers & acquisitions, real estate transactions, and entity formation and organization. She also has experience representing both lenders and borrowers in various commercial finance transactions. Erica practices in our Oklahoma City offices.

Jennifer K. Christian concentrates her practice on all aspects of commercial law. She assists clients in a wide range of transactional matters and litigation involving business law, contractual disputes, real estate, banking, healthcare, business divorce, construction, trust administration, insurance coverage and bad faith, and employment-related matters. Jennifer practices in our Oklahoma City offices.

Hilary Hudson Clifton is a litigation attorney who represents individuals and both privately-held and public companies in a wide range of civil litigation matters. In her practice, Hilary has had success in both state and federal courts, obtaining summary judgment victories for clients and having significant district court victories affirmed at the appellate level. Hilary practices in our Oklahoma City offices.

Michele C. Spillman has a background in both commercial litigation and labor & employment law. She represents employers in a wide variety of industries and provides advice and counsel on federal and state employment laws regarding discrimination, harassment, retaliation, medical leave requests and accommodations, and wage and hour issues. She also assists employers with human resources matters, including employment policies, handbooks, severance agreements, non-competition matters, and internal investigations into alleged violations of various employment laws. Michele practices in our Dallas offices.
