J. Mark Lovelace and Eric L. Johnson authored “Oklahoma Lending Law, a Guide for Commercial Lenders” at the request of the American Bar Association. Phillips McFall was the Oklahoma law firm approached exclusively by the ABA. The guide will be used by private practitioners and corporate counsel throughout the state and nation.
Appreciative of the opportunity, Lovelace said, “Because lenders and their counsel encounter variations from state to state, this collection of guides is intended to be a practical and useful introduction to important issues that will confront them in different jurisdictions.”
“Oklahoma Lending Law, a Guide for Commercial Lenders” is the Oklahoma component of a comprehensive project sponsored by the American Bar Association in which select law firms from across the country were chosen to prepare similar guides for each of the 50 states in the U.S., the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
