Biography

Lyndon W. Whitmire is a Director and a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee. He is an experienced trial attorney representing clients in a wide range of complex litigation matters, including product liability, business and commercial litigation, first- and third-party insurance matters, class actions, various UCC and consumer protection-related disputes, general tort, personal injury and wrongful death claims, transportation negligence disputes, trust and estate disputes, and intellectual property matters. Lyndon also previously served as the Practice Group Leader for the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group.

Lyndon has tried cases in both state and federal courts and has represented clients in arbitration and administrative hearings. He has also appeared before the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and the Supreme Court of Oklahoma. He has represented clients as regional counsel in Colorado, Arkansas and New Mexico.

A Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent attorney, Lyndon co-authored “An Overview of Oklahoma Product Liability Law,” 73 OKLA. B.J. 2231 (2002), which won the Oklahoma Bar Journal’s Golden Quill Award. Lyndon ‘s other distinctions include recipient of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award.

He is active, nationally, in the Defense Research Institute and holds leadership positions within the community and within the Firm, including the Firm’s Diversity Committee. Raised in Woodward, Lyndon and his family live in Edmond.
