Phillips Murrah attorneys and staff were given a special opportunity to get acquainted with candidates for the Firm’s summer law clerk program.

The Firm hosted a Welcoming Party for incoming law clerks Eleanor Burg, Colby Byrd, Travis Harrison, and Tripp Lopez on April 25 on the patio at Flint. The party offered the law clerks a chance to familiarize themselves with the attorneys and staff they will be working with throughout this Summer.

“We are really excited to have Eleanor, Colby, Travis and Tripp be joining us this summer,” Director Joshua L. Edwards said. “After going through the on-campus interview process at OU and OCU last fall, we knew we had a talented and impressive group of law students for this year’s summer clerkship program.”

Each year, Phillips Murrah selects law students for a six-week glimpse of the Firm’s culture while allowing them to gain a wide range of real-world legal experience. This summer’s group of students will begin their clerkship on July 5.

“The program allows us to provide these students with an immersive experience of the Firm’s practice and culture, offering them the chance to learn from seasoned legal professionals and to get a sense for what it’s like to be a new associate at the Firm,” Edwards said.
